Bible study goes deeper when you slow down and work through a passage instead of only reading past it. The Scripture Workshop is a free app that gives you three classic inductive tools — side by side, over the same passage — so you can see how the text is put together and record what you find.
Free — no account, no cost. Works on a phone, tablet, or computer.
Phrasing
Break the passage into its phrases and lay them out so the main statements stand clear and the supporting ones sit underneath — the flow of thought made visible.
Markup
Mark the text itself: highlight repeated words, key themes, and connections, and give each section a heading until the shape of the passage emerges.
Bracketing
Put each unit in your own words and bracket them together, step by step, until you reach the one main point the passage is making.
How it works
Choose a passage, and it becomes a project you can open in any of the three tools — the same verses, the work you have done in each tool kept together. Your studies stay on your own device, so once a passage is loaded you can keep working without an internet connection — on a plane, in the field, or anywhere the signal is poor.
Several Bible translations are available, in English, Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, and other languages, and the app itself can be used in your language too.

Open it in your browser and pick a passage — that is all it takes to begin.
