Date–Carob Sauce

A naturally sweet, creamy sauce made from dates, carob, and soy milk. Ideal as a quick topping for porridge, waffles, or other breakfast dishes.

Ingredients

  • 150 g (5.3 oz) date paste or pitted dates
  • 1 dl (0.4 cup) carob powder
  • 5 dl (2 cups) soy milk

Instructions

  1. Add the dates, carob powder, and soy milk to a blender.
  2. Blend until fully smooth and creamy.
  3. Transfer to a jar or container. Use immediately, or refrigerate until needed.

Tips & Variations

  • Replace the carob powder with coconut flakes for a milder, less chocolate-like flavor.
